CH - Chain stitch

SL ST - Slip stitch

HDC - Half Double Crochet

SK - Skip

FOUNDATION

Chain in multiples of 2 + 1.

PATTERN

Row 1: SK 1 CH. 1 SL ST in 2nd CH from the hook. 1 HDC in next, *1 SL ST in next, 1 HDC in next** Repeat from * to ** CH 1 and Turn.


Row 2: 1 SL ST in first stitch (This will be into the last HDC of the row below), 1 HDC in next, *1 SL ST in next, 1 HDC in next** Repeat from * to ** CH 1 and Turn.


Repeat row 2 until you reach your desired length.
